  • How often should my HVAC be serviced?

It is standard practice to have your HVAC serviced twice a year. Scheduling air conditioning services once in the spring and once in the fall will ensure that your HVAC systems are inspected at regular intervals.

  • How often should I change my filter?

How often you should change your filter depends on the size of the filter.

    • A 1-inch filter is good for 4 to 6 weeks.
    • A 4-inch filter is good for 2 to 3 months.
    • A 5-inch filter is good for 4 to 6 months.

In need of new air filtration products? Reach out to us at Muller Heating & Cooling for a free estimate today! We are happy to provide our top-tier air conditioning services for you.

  • What do I do if my furnace or air conditioner stops?

If your furnace or air conditioner stops, you should follow these three steps.

    1. Turn the power off using a switch on the side or at the breaker.
    2. After 30 seconds, turn the power back on.
    3. Finally, remove the filter from the furnace or air conditioner.

When it comes to heating and air conditioning issues, filters are the root cause half of the time.

  • What is the best heating and air conditioning system to get?

According to Comfy Living, the world’s yearly AC unit demand was nearly 111 million in 2018, and it continues to grow. Top equipment manufacturers such as Trane, Mitsubishi, and Bosch have been meeting this demand with high-quality heating and air conditioning products.

Purchasing your next heating and air conditioning system from any one of these brands will give you peace of mind knowing that your furnace or air conditioner is built to work at the highest level.

  • How do I relight my pilot light?

If your furnace's pilot light is no longer functioning, we recommend that you have it replaced. Furnaces with pilot lights have not been made in 20 years, so a complete replacement with a more up-to-date furnace is most optimal for energy efficiency and your home heating costs.

Give Muller Heating & Cooling a call if you would like a free estimate on a new furnace. We'd be happy to provide you with our expert heating and air conditioning services!

  • Where is my air filter located?

For most furnaces, air filters are located at the bottom side of the furnace. However, for down-flow furnaces, the air filter is most likely located at the top.
